The 10th International Symposium on Two-dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy

(2DCOS-10, First circular announcement)

The International Symposium on Two-dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy (2DCOS) is a sequential symposium worldwide. It covers all aspects ranging from theory to applications in various scientific fields such as Chemistry, Material sciences, Nanosciences and Biology. Since the first symposium, being held in Sanda, Japan in 1999, it has become an important international forum for the discussion of new developments and extended applications in versatile spectroscopies. Following the great success of the previous nine symposia, the 10th International Symposium on Two-dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy (2DCOS-10), will be held on 19-21 August, 2019 in Changchun, China.

1.     Topics

Topics of the invited lectures will include versatile spectroscopic investigations on, but not limited to:

Nanomaterials

Biomaterials

Electronic, optical, and magnetic materials

……

in Chemistry, Material sciences, Nanosciences and Biology, both at molecular and/or supramolecular levels.

2.     Abstract Requirements and Submission

English abstract is required. Abstract should be within one page on the A4 sheet including figures, tables and references. Font used in text is Times New Roman 12 pt. Please set top and bottom margin as 3 cm, and right and left margin as 2.5 cm. PDF file of the abstract is only accepted for the submission, please convert MS-word or the other file format to PDF file before an abstract submission.

3.     Report Forms

In order to make full use of the efficiency of academic exchanges at the conference, the conference still uses the "oral report" and "poster demonstration" to conduct academic exchanges. Whether it is an oral report or a poster presentation, it is an academic exchange of the same level. In order to respect individual opinions and facilitate the arrangement of the organizing committee, please submit the questions of “oral report” or “poster demonstration” when the meeting is registered. In order to encourage students to actively participate in academic exchanges, this conference will continue to set up the “Excellent Poster Award” to recognize those with high research level, outstanding research points and clear organization. At the same time, the conference will also invite well-known experts and scholars both at home and abroad to give plenary and invited reports on the cutting-edge hot issues in the academic field.

The main forms of reporting are:

l  Plenary report: It mainly invites well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad to report on the latest research progress of cutting-edge technologies in spectrum analysis in various fields.

l  Invitation Report: This conference will select hot application areas of spectroscopy technology, open a number of special forums, and invite well-known experts in the field to make forum topic reports.

l  Oral report and poster presentation: As the main form of communication and presentation of this conference, the committee encourage young scientists to apply oral presentation and poster demonstration to join the communication actively.

5.     Product Display

The conference warmly invited domestic and foreign instrument manufacturers to display various spectrometers such as molecular spectrum (infrared, near-infrared, Raman, fluorescence, etc.), atomic spectroscopy, and other related instruments and equipment such as mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic. We will provide exhibition venues on the website and conference site of this conference. We hope that all manufacturers will make full use of this opportunity to show their latest products.
